Cream

2 cups brown sugar

2 cups white sugar

2 cups shortening

Add 4 egg yolks

Sift in

1 teaspoon baking soda

7 cups flour

1 teaspoon flavoring

Beat the remaining egg whites until peaks form and then mix in

Roll into a log form, wrap in wax paper and place in freezer. When you want cookies simply remove log, slice the dough and bake!

Tips:

  • For flavoring use anything from Almond, Vanilla, or my grandpa’s favorite: Maple.
