Melt 1 cup butter (over med-high heat)

Add

¼ cup light corn starch

1 cup sugar

Stir until dissolved

Add 1 ½ cup chopped almonds

Cook 12-14 minutes or until toffee brown

Pour onto a baking sheet covered with wax paper

Immediately add 12 oz. of chocolate chips to the top. After 2 minutes spread the melted chocolate. Then sprinkle ½ cup ground almonds to top. 

Place in freezer until hard, then crack.

Keep refrigerated
